Pictou County Homicides Added to Rewards Program

The Province is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the homicides of Keleana (Kelly) Trask and Tyler Meagher.
On November 9, 2024, police responded to a report of a burned vehicle in Greenhill, Pictou County, and discovered the remains of Ms. Trask, 32, and Mr. Meagher, 34. Police are investigating the deaths as homicides and say people may have information they have not shared with police.
“Investigators believe people may have the information they need to move these cases forward,” said Scott Armstrong, Attorney General and Minister of Justice. “I urge anyone with information about what happened to Ms. Trask and Mr. Meagher to contact the rewards program and help bring justice and closure to their loved ones.”
Anyone with information regarding this crime should call the Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program at 1-888-710-9090. People who come forward with information must provide their name and contact information and may be called to testify in court. All calls will be recorded.
People who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers of Nova Scotia at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
