Macdonald Bridge Weekend Closure
The Macdonald Bridge will be closed to all traffic, including pedestrians and cyclists, from 8PM on Friday, Oct 2nd until 5:30AM on Monday, Oct 5th for Project LifeSpan work.
Free Halifax Transit tickets are available for pedestrians and cyclists:
Up to four tickets per person
Available 24/7 at the Operations Centre, Macdonald Bridge Administration Building, 125 Wyse Road, Dartmouth
Pick-up begins today
Drivers should also be aware that the Massachusetts Avenue ramp closure near the MacKay Bridge remains in effect, so please plan ahead, follow posted detours, and allow extra travel time.
