Kings District RCMP investigating fatal collision in Greenwood
Kings District RCMP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Greenwood Square.
On October 3, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Kings District RCMP, fire services, and EHS responded to a report of a collision on Hwy. 201. Officers learned that a pickup truck and a car collided at the intersection of Hwy. 201 and Ward Rd.
A passenger in the car, a youth from Kentville, was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second passenger was transported to hospital by EHS LifeFlight. The driver was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Hwy. 201 was closed for several hours while an RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the collision.
