In photos - The annual Q104 Pumpkin Drop shook the cheering crowd once again at Mic Mac Mall!
The opening act did not disappoint as dozens of pumpkins were hoisted high in the air and then let go, exploding in a nearly hypnotic series of thuds.
But then came the opening act as an over 1300lbs pumpkin took center stage, hoisted to the heavens before dropping to the earth witj one of the most unique sounds you can imagine!
The explosive show doesn't go to waste as we were told the pumpkins will go towards animal feed.
The Q staff took to the gore, taking measurements for the annual contest associated with this entertaining event
