Pipeline Road Fire Update 2

The wildfire on Pipeline Road in Head of St. Margarets Bay, near the south end of Big Indian Lake, remains contained. NSDNR has advised that the fire did not grow or spread overnight and estimates it is still approximately 1.2 hectares. At this time, there is still no threat to residents or structures. HRFE and municipal Emergency Management staff continue to monitor the situation and are standing by if further assistance is needed. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
