An update on Gus the gopher tortoise, October 15th, 2026
Gus has returned to the Museum! He is resting comfortably in his own enclosure. Staff are working closely with his veterinary care team to meet his needs post-surgery.
Throughout the next 8-10 weeks, we will continue to update you on Gus’s progress behind the scenes. Thank you for the love and support towards Gus, his veterinary team, and his museum team. We are all team Gus.
