Lunenburg District RCMP officers were on patrol late last year when they spotted an unexpected road user. An emu was taking itself for a stroll.
The emu did its best to dodge the officers, but while one officer kept up the slow motion chase, the other canvassed the area and eventually found its home.
Thanks to a little teamwork, and a well timed act of kindness, the wandering emu was safely reunited with its owner. 🐦
