OSPREY FUN FACT FRIDAY!
The Osprey has an amazing eyesight! An Osprey's eyesight is 3-5 times greater than a human beings. The Ospreys eyesight helps it judge were a fish is.
All adult Ospreys have yellow eyes but they're not born that way. A baby Osprey's eyes are a dark blue when hatched as nestlings, and in a few days turn to a deep, reddish orange color until the time they make their journey to the Sunny South. Around the Osprey's eye is a dark band which reduces glare from the sunlit lakes.
