**** Via Halifax Professional FirefightersLast evening, #hfxfirefighters responded to a medical assistance call on Chelsea Lane in HalifaxDuring the course of the call, a rapid technical rescue was required. Members from Station 7’s Technical Rescue Team, alongside neighbouring Station 5, utilized two aerial devices to safely remove the patient from an upper-floor bedroom.Strong collaboration and teamwork with EHS paramedics — including members of their EPSO team — ensured a safe and efficient outcome.This marks the second technical rescue in under a week resulting from a medical emergency — a reminder of the diverse and complex nature of the calls our members respond to every day.
