East Hants Mandatory Water Restrictions in Effect 

**** Via Municipality of East Hants East Hants Mandatory Water Restrictions in Effect  As of 2 PM today, East Hants Water Utility customers in Enfield, Elmsdale and Lantz are now under mandatory water restrictions. This does not include the community of Shubenacadie. What does this mean? ❌ No lawn watering ❌ No at-home car washing ❌ No filling pools or hot tubs ❌ No pressure washing The Bulk water station is open for household necessities only – not recreational use. The East Hants Aquatic Centre remains open and free potable water and showers are still available during operational hours. The rain expected in the forecast is not anticipated to be enough to change conditions this week. We are still encouraging residents in all other East Hants communities and rural areas to conserve water wherever possible. Your cooperation helps protect our water supply for everyone.
