RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment investigating fatal ATV crash
RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is investigating a fatal ATV crash that occurred in Sheet Harbour.
On September 26 at approximately 5:50 p.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment, fire service, and EHS responded to a report of an overturned ATV with the driver ejected on a trail off Hwy. 7 near Spry Bay.
The driver, who was the only person riding the ATV at the time of the crash, was found to be deceased. He was identified as a 23-year-old man from Sheet Harbour.
RCMP Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Services was consulted to support the investigation, which is ongoing.
