Here are some things to check regularly to ensure it will be working properly if and when you need it. -Check the pressure gauge monthly. (The pressure gauge needle needs to be in the green area) -Check if your extinguisher has corrosion or rust. -Check the hose and nozzle for cracks and rips. -Check to see if the locking pin on the handle is missing or unsealed. -Check the inspection sticker. Replace or service your extinguisher if it has been used.
