**** Via Halifax Professional Firefighters BURN BAN IN EFFECT — PROVINCE-WIDE Effective immediately, Nova Scotia has issued a burn ban lasting until October 15 or until conditions improve. With hot, dry weather and little rain in the forecast, wildfire risk is extremely high. Let’s all do our part to keep our communities and forests safe. ⚠️ NOT ALLOWED: • Campfires • Bonfires • Brush burning • Chimineas 💰 Violators can face fines up to $25,000 And no fireworks! ✅ ALLOWED: • Charcoal BBQs • Gas BBQs & stoves • Devices that follow manufacturer safety instructions Spread the word.
