**** New Glasgow Police Release New Glasgow Regional Police charge a 37-year-old with multiple charges after stealing a vehicle On July 26, 2025, at 4:20 PM, an off-duty New Glasgow Regional Police officer observed a 37-year-old Pictou County man operating a vehicle previously reported stolen on July 24, 2025. The off-duty officer notified New Glasgow Regional Police patrol officers, who located the vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence on Aberdeen Avenue, New Glasgow. With assistance from the Stellarton Police Service and the New Glasgow Regional Police Major Crime Unit, officers obtained a warrant to enter the residence. The suspect was arrested without incident. David Allen Lemmon, of Pictou County, has been arrested and charged with the following offences. Operation while prohibited – Section 320.18 Possession of property obtained by crime – Section 354(1)(a) Failure to comply with release order conditions (x4) – Section 145(5)(a) Failure to comply with probation order (x2) – Section 733.1(1) Theft of motor vehicle – Section 333.1(1) David Allen Lemmon has been remanded into custody. The New Glasgow Regional Police continue to investigate.
