In a letter from the property management, a discarded cigarette was responsible for starting a fire in dry mulch outside of the building. An alert resident reacted quickly and was able to extinguish the fire which was very close to the main entrance.
The HRM has been in no burning state for a while now, and fairly dry this summer.
