**** Via Halifax Professional Firefighters At 1:34 PM, #hfxfirefighters responded to reports of smoke near the 1700 block of Purcells Cove Road Our members from Station 60 arrived to find an active brush fire approximately 50’ x 50’ and growing. Additional resources were called, and 18 #hfxfirefighters worked to bring the fire under control within 90 minutes. Hot and dry conditions persist—remain vigilant and stay fire safe.
