**** Municipal Release
Road Closure – Chebucto Road
Location: Chebucto Road, between Oxford and Kline streets
Date: Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23
Time: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Work details: This is required for the installation of a new utility pole and anchor in the area.
Traffic Impact: One lane of traffic will be closed on Chebucto Road, between Oxford and Kline streets, while work is underway. Vehicles will be detoured around the closed traffic lane to access Oxford and North streets during the closure. Pedestrian Wayfinding signage will be in place, as the sidewalk on the work site will be closed as well. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes wherever possible.

Street Closure – Upper Water Street
Location: Upper Water Street, between Duke Street and 1871 Upper Water Street
Date: Saturday, March 15
Time: 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Work details: This is required for crane work in the area.
Traffic impact: Vehicles travelling on Lower Water Street toward Duke Street will be detoured via Duke Street. Trucks travelling on Lower Water Street will be detoured via Morris Street. Pedestrian Wayfinding signage will be in place, as the sidewalk will be closed along the area where the crane is being used. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes wherever possible.
