Forecast to strengthen to a hurricane by mid-week. This will be the 4th named Hurricane of the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season
🟠 60% Central Tropical Atlantic (AL92):
Environmental conditions are marginally conducive for development during the next few days, and a tropical depression is expected to form while the system meanders over the central tropical Atlantic.
🔴 70% Eastern and Central Tropical Atlantic:
Environmental conditions appear favorable for gradual development of this system, and a tropical depression will likely form during the middle to latter part of the week while the system begins moving slowly west-northwestward.
