Traffic Delay – Lucasville Road
Location: Lucasville Road at the bridge over the Sackville River
Date: Monday, May 6 until early 2025
Time: 24/7
Work details: This work is to facilitate the rehabilitation of the Lucasville Bridge. This is in support of the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic impact: Temporary traffic signals will be installed to control traffic flow through the work site as work progresses on the Lucasville Bridge rehabilitation project. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to take alternative routes whenever possible.

Road Closure – Hornes Road Bridge Location: Hornes Road Bridge, between Cow Bay Road and Caldwell Road Date: July 2, 2024 to November 2024 Time: 24/7 Work details: This closure is to facilitate the rebuilding of the bridge. Traffic impact: A signed detour will be in place. Halifax Transit will be re-routed and the following stops will be closed:- Hornes Road at civic 12 (2221)

Traffic impact: The traffic lights and signals at the intersection of Oxford Street and Coburg Road will not be operational while work is underway. Stop and go traffic will be in place to guide motorists through the work area. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to take alternative routes whenever possible.
