**** Info via Environment Canada Rainfall warning in effect Rain, at times heavy, is expected. Total rainfall: 50 to 70 mm. Locations: western and Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia Time span: today and tonight. Remarks: Heavy rain and downpours will persist this morning but the intensity of the rain will diminish slightly this afternoon. Tonight the rain will reintensify giving heavy downpours during the evening before tapering off to showers overnight. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
