On certain vehicles, the intermediate steering shaft may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, the steering shaft could separate from the universal joint and cause a loss of steering.
Note: This recall affects 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2021-2023 Grand Cherokee L models.Safety Risk:
A loss of steering could create the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the intermediate steering shaft. |
