The frame on certain vehicles may have been built with an extra and unused mounting stud near the fuel tank. As a result, the stud could contact the fuel tank in a crash and create a fuel leak.
Note: This recall only affects two-door models.Safety Risk:
A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, remove the stud. |
