Public Service Announcement Road Closure – Robie Street

Location: Robie Street, between Stairs and Livingstone streets Date: Thursday, April 6 (rain date: Tuesday, April 11) Thursday, April 20 (rain date: Friday, April 21) Time:​ 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Work details:​ This road closure is related to underground utility work. Traffic impact: Robie Street, between Stairs and Livingstone streets, will be closed while work is underway. Local street access will be maintained and the sidewalks will remain open at all times. A signed detour route will be in place. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. .

Traffic Delay – Queen Street

Location: Queen Street, from Spring Garden Road to Clyde Street Dates: Monday, April 10 to Monday, May 1 Time: ​ 24 hours daily Work details: This work is to support installation of underground infrastructure and asphalt reinstatement. Traffic impact: The sidewalk on the west side will be closed during this time and the east sidewalk will remain open. A detour is in place. --- COLCHESTER COUNTY: Slade Road, Tatamagouche Slade Road is closed between Lake Road and West Tatamagouche Road until further notice due to a bridge closure. --- CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Apple River Bridge Apple River Bridge, on Shulie Road between Advocate and Joggins, is closed until further notice due to structural damage. Signs and a detour are in place. --- HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102, Bedford/Lower Sackville Highway 102, from Exit 4A to Exit 4C, has lane reductions and intermittent road closures on the northbound and southbound highway for the construction of the Highway 107-Highway 102 Interchange. Highway 102 northbound and southbound, Highway 101, Bedford Highway, Bedford Bypass, Duke Street, Glendale Avenue and Sackville Drive have intermittent road closures for blasting until June 30. Traffic control will be on-site. Road closures for blasting occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday. Lane reductions occur from sunrise to sunset Monday to Thursday and from sunrise to noon on Friday. -- HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101, Windsor The eastbound off-ramp at Exit 6, Highway 101, is closed for the construction of a new interchange to downtown Windsor. A detour is available via Exit 5A. The off-ramp is closed until September. --- HANTS COUNTY: Hydes Bridge, Lantz Hydes Bridge on Highway 277 is closed until further notice. A detour is in place via Dutch Settlement Road, Elmsdale Road and Trunk 2. Signs are in place. --- LUNENBURG COUNTY: Indian Path Bridge, Bayport Indian Path Bridge, Route 332, is closed for replacement until further notice. A detour is in place. --- PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104, Barneys River The new Barneys River Interchange will be used to detour Highway 104 traffic until May 31, to prepare for the opening of the new highway. Signs will direct drivers through the roundabouts. Approaching traffic must yield to traffic already in the roundabout. A detour is in place on MacEachern Road.
