**** EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICE Release Hurricane Season Preparation ——————————————————– The province asks Nova Scotians to help minimize the risk of property damage and personal injury by being prepared for a hurricane or tropical storm. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June to November. Nova Scotians should prepare in advance and monitor local weather forecasts.
