Lunenburg District RCMP investigates fatal collision

**** RCMP Media Release Lunenburg District RCMP investigates fatal collision Just after 3:40 pm this afternoon, Lunenburg District RCMP members were dispatched to a multi-vehicle collision between Exits 14 and 15 on Highway 103 in Italy Cross, Nova Scotia. Multiple Lunenburg District members responded as well as EHS and local Fire Departments.​ RCMP have confirmed one fatality and another person with life-threatening injuries was transported via EHS LifeFlight to hospital. A collision reconstructionist was called to the scene, and the investigation is ongoing. Hwy 103 between exits 14 and 15 is currently closed in both directions and is expected to re-open by midnight.
