Truro Police Service responded to a call of a disturbance at a local hotel

**** Truro Police Release Last evening the Truro Police Service responded to a call of a disturbance at a local hotel. Responding officers determined that those involved in this incident were in violation of the current Public Health orders. Our investigation resulted in two females, one from HRM area, being charged under the Health Protection Act for failing to abide by the health guidelines established by the Province. They were each issued a Summary Offence ticket for $2422 The Truro Police Service would like to remind people to please follow the guidelines as directed or you can expect to face substantial fines.
