Update: Snowfall warning in effect via Environment Canada

More information: http://weather.gc.ca/warnings/index_e.html?prov=ns
. **** ENDED Special weather statement in effect via Environment Canada
Potential for significant snowfall beginning Friday morning.
Total snowfall: 10 to 15 cm, likely higher in some areas of heaviest snow bands.
Locations: Annapolis, Kings, Queens, and Lunenburg and Halifax counties.
Time span: Beginning Friday morning and ending Friday evening.
Remarks: Periods of snow, at times heavy, are expected across parts of Nova Scotia on Friday as a small but potentially vigorous weather system develops and passes just off the Atlantic coast.
Given the nature of this system, details as to where the highest snowfall amounts will occur could still be subject to change, and as such this statement may need to be extended to additional regions or upgraded to a snowfall warning for some areas. Regardless, the timing of the snow will likely have impacts on the evening commute.
