Bedford Highway Lane Reduction – Stormwater System Maintenance
On Sunday, November 22, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Halifax Water crews will be undertaking stormwater system maintenance that will require a lane drop between civics 7 and 223 Bedford Highway. The lane reduction will be on the outbound side to start and will shift over to the inbound curb later in the day.
Two-way traffic will be maintained. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site.
There will be no loss of water, wastewater or stormwater services as a result of this work.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
