The following Families of Schools will delay opening by two hours today, Friday, March 13, 2026:
Eastern Shore Consolidated Family of Schools
Marine Drive Family of Schools
Musquodoboit Rural High Family of Schools
This means:
Bused students will be picked up two hours later than their regular time.
Lunch and dismissal will be at regularly scheduled times.

Please note: Today is an Assessment and Evaluation Day for Elementary/Junior High/Middle Schools, and all grades at Marine Drive Academy. There are no classes for these schools only.
Today's decision was based on the following information:
Accumulation of 7-10 cm of snow overnight for inland rural areas
Forecast calling for additional 3-5 cm of intense snowfall for the Eastern Shore/Musquodoboit/Marine Drive areas during the morning commute
