**** Via HRCE All schools in the Halifax Regional Centre for Education are closed today, Thursday, February 12, 2026, due to poor road conditions, and to allow for cleanup following the winter storm. This decision was based on the following factors:

• Snowfall of 14-16 cm overnight
• Icy road conditions reported throughout HRM
• School grounds and side roads are still being cleared
