Update – Alderney Ferry service reduction until further notice
The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that the Vincent Coleman ferry is now expected to return to service by late February, rather than at the end of January as previously announced. As a result, the Alderney ferry will continue operating every 30 minutes on weekdays, from 7 a.m. to 8:15 p.m., until further notice.

In addition, the Craig Blake, one of Halifax Transit’s five ferries, continues to undergo scheduled inspections and a significant repair, and will remain out of service until later this year.
