Traffic Delay – Highway 111
Location: Highway 111, between the Windsor Street Exchange and MacKay Bridge
Date and time: 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8 to 5 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 9 (overnight work)
Work details: This is to facilitate the closure of the ramp connecting Massachusetts Avenue to Highway 111 toward the Windsor Street Exchange, and the installation of rumble strips and road line repainting to improve safety and traffic flows. This work is part of preparations for the upcoming Windsor Street Exchange project.
Traffic impact: Lane reductions and marked detours will be in place while this overnight work is underway. Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes where possible.
