Due to poor road conditions, the following Families of Schools are closed today, Monday, December 15, 2025
- Bay View High
- Eastern Shore District High
- Marine Drive
- Musquodoboit Rural High

All other HRCE schools will be delayed in opening by two hours to allow for cleanup.
This means:
- Bused students will be picked up two hours later than their regular time.
- Lunch and dismissal will be at regularly scheduled times.
- EXCEL programs are canceled for the morning only.
Today's decision was based on the following information:
- A snowfall of 10-15 cm overnight, with no additional snow forecasted for the day
- Roads, sidewalks and school grounds are still being cleared
